Lots of pictures taken but no pictures

Not having internet is frustrating - guess it shows how dependent we are on it these days especially when traveling. We use it to confirm reservations a few days in advance of arrival at a place to stay. We use it as well to plot tourist attractions in a geographical area where we stay. Here in Bonndorf, Germany today, there are no WiFi spots for tourists to use. Internet is available in smoke filled billiard and beer halls for a price per minute. Today we paid e2.50 just to check Facebook. Internet is available at most McDonalds restaurants but one must sign up with credit card for many more minutes use than often required. That was our dilemma today so after spending nearly half a day searching for WiFi spots we abandoned the idea and decided to bike instead.
On the map we saw a small lake called Titisee (pronounced TTC) so set the GPS and headed for the east side of the lake. After winding down a few farm lanes toward the lake we found a place to park and unloaded the bikes for a ride around the lake. At one end of the lake we were surprised to see an invasion of tourists - bus loads of them. There were many restaurants and souvenir shops spread all around the end of the lake. Ferry rides and boat rentals were busy with passengers young and old. We found the path down by the lake and struck out around it - sometimes right beside the lake and sometimes through the forest a short space away. In the forested areas there were seasonal campers. It was a pleasant ride.
Fall colours are beginning to show so there were many good camera shots today - just one problem - I had forgotten to put the SD card back into the camera from last download - dummie. No pictures today.
After supper back at out stay, we walked downtown for a couple km and did some window shopping. We agreed this is not a tourist friendly town like others we have been to.
